Summertime…….I can feel it around the corner! I wanted to share this Summertime shoot from a couple years ago because it got me thinking about couples who never really got the photos they loved on their wedding day. This anniversary shoot features the “bride” in her wedding dress (which miraculously still fit her. Can we talk about that for a second? Props to Jenny right?!)
It’s amazing how many couples I meet who say, “I didn’t have time on my wedding day for portraits like this, I wish I had.” Or couples who just didn’t invest in a photographer when they married, letting friends and family cover the day with a point and shoot. Or just really didn’t see the value in photos at all but now, years later, they want those editorial portraits of them as a couple. Oi. I will try not to be too expressive about my feelings on this matter, because unfortunately people still do often feel this way. But I will say, its never to late. Jack and Jenny took the time, 10 years later, to have a fun and adventurous photo shoot for their anniversary. Photos they can look at that do more than celebrate their wedding, but really truly celebrate their marriage. Isn’t that lovely? I really do love these images even two years after they were taken.
Do you have the wedding photos of your dreams? If not, lets make a plan.
